Joined by Finn our youngest member at 5 months with James and Hannah
Across the A6 to shining cliff woods, gradual climb to the youth hostel past the kids in the woods and then across the fields , past alderwasley grange to the Maltshovel-it was CLOSED!
Drop down into wirksworth and the sarnie shop.
Up the steepest hill that Kay could find past the quirky house and then back down again to the B5023. Climb the woodland trail to the national stone centre and up onto the hig peak trail.
Thoughts of the Stevens park runs as we walked to the end of the line and donw the climb. Under the bridge axcross the fields and back to the Boat Inn, Cromford. Only time for a quickie as the train awaits!
