An easy start from Bakewell station follwing the old railway to Monsal head. Quick coffee at Hassop station.
Then drop down into monsal dale and follow the river down to A6. Up deepdale complete with lost DofE groups, cows and sheep and over to blustery magpie mine.
Miss out sheldon and across the pastures to over Haddpn and a welcome pint overlooking lathkill dale.
Brave the sheep again andcontour round to Bakewell cemetary–a quick nip to see Mr and Mrs P then down and up to the start.
